Welcome

Let's talk therapy!

Countless studies have proven that regardless of therapeutic modalities or interventions, clients experience the best treatment outcomes when they have a strong therapeutic relationship with their clinician. Whether you have been to therapy before or this is your first time seeking counseling services, finding a therapist that is a good fit for you is the single most significant component to your success in counseling. To help you determine if my style as a therapist would match what you are looking for, let me share a little bit about what you could expect in working with me:

- As a clinician, I create a safe, warm, and nurturing environment, where together we can explore the issues that you are facing in your daily life.

- I invite you to be yourself. You will notice early on that I am most interested in getting to know YOU. My goal is to become familiar with your values, interests, personality, and perspectives, which allows me to tailor my interventions to your unique identity.

-Expect to laugh, often. I have been told by many of my clients that my light-hearted sense of humor allows them to feel more at ease when talking about heavy topics.

- Throughout treatment we will work towards helping you identify fresh perspectives, unique solutions, and coping skills to manage both current and ongoing obstacles.

- Most importantly, expect to FEEL accepted and valued during our sessions. I strive to help each of my clients learn more about themselves, draw from their personal values to create a more fulfilling life, and improve their sense of self-acceptance. Once your therapeutic goals are met, my hope is that you will graduate from therapy with a positive perspective of who you are and a better understanding of how to take care of yourself through the challenges you face.
