Fees, Insurance, Cancellation Policy, & Telehealth
Fees:
My standard fee for a 45-minute session is $250.
A reduced fee may be available upon assessment and provided on a time-limited basis.
Payment:
Credit card is the preferred method for payment.
Cancellation Policy:
Your appointment time is reserved for you. In order to cancel an appointment without charge, I require 48-hour notice prior to the scheduled session. In the event that you are unable to attend therapy in-person, we can switch to a virtual session. Clients must be within the state of California during all virtual sessions. There are no special exceptions to the cancellation policy. The late cancellation fee is $240,
Insurance:
I am considered an Out of Network Provider. Although I do not work directly with insurance providers, Upon request, I can give you superbills or statements that will include your sessions. You will be responsible for submitting these documents to your insurer. If you are hoping to receive financial support from your insurance provider, please contact them first to confirm that they are willing to cover mental health support from an Out of Network Provider.
Telehealth:
Many professionals, parents, and teens with busy schedules find it challenging to meet face to face on a weekly basis. In some cases, clients prefer to have the flexibility of meeting via phone or video chat. In my experience, teletherapy is remarkably like in-person sessions. If you are interested in exploring these treatment options, I will conduct a brief assessment during our initial 1-3 sessions to determine if teletherapy is an appropriate option for you. If we decide to move forward with teletherapy, you can choose between the options of having telephone or video sessions.
